Afar
Population and population density for the Afar Region. The polygons of this SHP represent all settlements of the region, and the population numbers are the combination of surveys and satellite imagery. The units are the number of people per square kilometer with country totals adjusted to match the corresponding official United Nations population estimates that have been prepared by the Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat (2019 Revision of World Population Prospects).
